Small-Structure Demolition in Lebanon, Oregon —
Sheds, Slabs & Outbuildings

Small-structure demolition for rural and residential properties — sheds, old barns, decks, fences, slabs, and pads. We tear it down, haul it out, and leave the ground ready for whatever comes next.

Demolition

Tear it down.
Haul it out.
Move on.

A lot of properties in Linn County have something old that needs to go before the next thing can happen. A leaning shed. A rotten deck. A concrete pad from a structure that's been gone for decades. We knock those out as part of normal site work — no separate demo crew, no waiting on a second contractor.

What we demo

  • Sheds & outbuildings — wood-frame storage sheds, chicken coops, lean-tos, garden buildings.
  • Old barns & pole barns — small to mid-size, owner-removed not historic-protected.
  • Decks & porches — pulled clean, posts and footings out.
  • Fences — wood, wire, T-post, old chain-link. Posts pulled, holes filled.
  • Concrete slabs & pads — hot-tub pads, shed pads, old foundation slabs, sidewalks. Broken up and hauled.
  • Driveway tear-out — old asphalt or concrete drives, broken up and removed for new gravel.
  • Yard debris & storm damage haul-out — accumulated brush piles, downed branches from windstorms, debris from past projects. Hauled out by the trailer load when bundled with other site work.

Yard debris & storm cleanup — when it makes sense

We don't run a one-truck junk-haul or single-pile yard debris pickup service. There are dump-trailer services and junk haulers in Linn County who do that better and cheaper than we can. What we do handle is large-scale yard debris and storm damage cleanup when we're already on the property — bundled with a demo, a clearing job, a grading job, or routine land management. Common scenarios: a 10-cubic-yard pile of branches the wind dropped, three years of brush piles a previous owner left behind, post-clearing debris that needs to leave. Quoted as a separate line item, paid by the trailer load.

What we don't do

We don't do house demolition, multi-story commercial demo, or anything that requires a dedicated demolition contractor with a high-reach excavator. We don't handle asbestos abatement, lead paint, or hazmat — if your structure pre-dates the 1980s, we'll need an abatement assessment before we touch it. And we don't do burn-pile work for demolition debris — wood comes out as haul-away, not on-site burn.

How a demo job runs

  1. Walk-through. Jeff comes out, looks at the structure, calls out anything that's going to need special handling (old wiring, septic lines, well lines, propane).
  2. Disconnects. If there's electrical, water, or gas service to the structure, you'll need that disconnected by the right trade before we start.
  3. Tear-down. The E50 with thumb attachment knocks the structure down and separates it into haul-out piles — wood, metal, concrete.
  4. Haul-out. Loaded into a dump trailer and hauled to the appropriate facility (transfer station, metal recycler, concrete recycler).
  5. Ground prep. Footings and posts pulled, holes backfilled and tamped. Lot graded if that's part of the job.

Demo + what comes next

Most demo jobs are step one of a bigger project. Old shed comes out, new shed pad goes in. Old asphalt comes out, new gravel drive goes in. Old slab comes out, the lot gets graded for a different use. We quote demo as part of that whole job — not as a standalone — which is usually cheaper than hiring a demo contractor and a site contractor separately.

FAQ

Common questions about demolition.

Can you tear down my old house?

No. Single-story sheds, outbuildings, and small barns — yes. House demolition needs a higher-reach demo contractor and proper hazmat clearance. We'll refer you.

What happens to the debris?

Hauled out — wood goes to a transfer station or landfill, metal to recycling, concrete to a concrete recycler. We don't burn demolition debris on-site.

What about asbestos?

Pre-1980 structures need an asbestos assessment before demo. Oregon DEQ requires it. We won't touch a structure of that age without clearance documentation in hand.

How fast does demo go?

A shed: a few hours. A small barn or pole structure: a day. A slab tear-out and haul: half a day to a day depending on thickness and access.

Do you haul yard debris or storm cleanup?

Yes — when bundled with other work, not as a one-truck pickup service. If we're already on your property for demo, clearing, or grading, we can haul accumulated yard debris, brush piles, branches from windstorms, and storm cleanup at the same time. Quoted as a separate line item, paid per trailer load. For a single small pile and nothing else, a dump-trailer service or junk hauler is a better fit.
